Usage statistics are optional. Data collection is enabled only after your explicit choice, and you can change your consent at any time from the InLoco Settings.
What they are used for
Usage statistics help us understand which features are used most often, identify possible technical issues and decide how to improve future versions of InLoco.
Data is mainly analyzed through overall and aggregated statistics, to observe general app usage trends rather than examine the personal activity of a specific user.
Which events may be recorded
When consent is active, InLoco may record events related to the use of its main features, including:
- creating a place card;
- viewing a place card;
- editing or deleting a place card;
- sharing a place card;
- creating a parking location;
- opening directions;
- using search and filters;
- the result of a manual synchronization.
Functional parameters
Some events may include general information that helps us understand how the app is used, such as:
- the general category of a place card;
- the number of associated photographs;
- the type of filter applied;
- the section of the app from which directions were opened;
- the strategy and number of items involved in a manual synchronization.
Technical information
Firebase Analytics may also automatically collect general technical information about the app and device, as required to produce usage and reliability statistics, such as:
- app version;
- device model;
- operating system version;
- language and country;
- number and duration of sessions;
- pseudonymous technical installation identifiers.
Association with your account
InLoco does not send your email address, your Google account name or the Firebase identifier used to access the app to Firebase Analytics.
Analytics events are therefore not used by InLoco to personally identify you. Firebase Analytics may nevertheless use pseudonymous technical app or device identifiers to distinguish sessions and installations and produce aggregated statistics.
What we do not collect through Analytics
InLoco does not send the following to Firebase Analytics:
- the titles of your place cards;
- your notes;
- saved photographs;
- stored addresses;
- the precise GPS coordinates of your places;
- the personal content of your place cards;
- your Google account credentials.
Statistical purposes only
The information collected is used exclusively for usage statistics, reliability analysis and the improvement of InLoco.
InLoco does not use this data to show personalized advertising, create commercial profiles or make automated decisions about you.
Service used and data sharing
Usage statistics are processed through Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google. The technical processing required for the service therefore also takes place through Firebase and Google infrastructure.
InLoco does not sell data collected through Analytics and does not provide it to other companies or parties for commercial, advertising or unrelated purposes.
For further information about how Firebase Analytics works, you may consult Google's official Firebase Analytics documentation.
Optional consent
Data collection is enabled only after an explicit choice. If you do not grant consent, or later withdraw it, Firebase Analytics is disabled and usage events are not sent.
Your choice regarding usage statistics does not affect the functionality of the application. InLoco can be used in its entirety even if Firebase Analytics is not enabled.
How to change your choice
You can enable or disable usage statistics at any time directly in the app by following this path:
Settings → Privacy and permissions → Usage statistics
